Terms of Service
Last updated 28 August 2026
These terms govern your use of Flintroom, the rehearsal app operated at flintroom.app. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. How we handle your data is covered separately by the privacy policy.
What Flintroom is
Flintroom is a rehearsal room: AI panelists question you about your own argument and material, and an AI coach helps you rebuild the answers that broke. It is a practice tool. It is not financial, legal, investment, or professional advice of any kind. The panelists challenge you the way a hostile audience might, and like a hostile audience they can be mistaken, unfair, or simply wrong. Their arithmetic, their claims, and their opinions are generated by AI models and should never be relied on as fact. What they are for is making you sharper.
The panel is also confrontational by design. Being interrupted, pressed, and challenged is the product working, not the product misbehaving.
Your account
- You sign in with an Apple or Google account, must be at least 18, and are responsible for what happens under your account.
- You can delete your account at any time in Settings or as described at flintroom.app/delete-account.
- We may suspend or close an account used to break these terms, abuse the service, or attempt to defraud it.
Minutes, subscriptions, and payment
- Flintroom sells minutes of live interrogation. The debrief and sparring that follow a session are not metered.
- Minutes are deducted as they are used, never reserved in advance. A session that fails for technical reasons is refunded its minutes automatically.
- Top-up minutes never expire. A monthly allowance is used before top-up minutes are touched.
- All payment is processed by Google Play (and, when available, the App Store). Subscriptions renew, are managed, and are cancelled through your store account, under the store's own terms. Refunds of money follow the store's refund process.
- Prices may change; a change to a subscription price takes effect at renewal and the store notifies you first.
Your material
What you upload and say remains yours. You give us the limited right to process it (transcribe your speech, read your documents, and pass what is needed to the AI services that power a session) solely to provide Flintroom to you, as described in the privacy policy. You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload; do not attach material that is unlawful or that you have no right to use.
Acceptable use
- Do not use Flintroom for anything unlawful, or to generate or spread harmful content.
- Do not attempt to break, overload, probe, or reverse-engineer the service, or to access anyone else's data.
- Do not resell or provide the service to others as your own.
Disclaimers and liability
Flintroom is provided as-is. We work to keep it available and correct, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that AI output will be accurate, and to the maximum extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. When a change is material we will say so in the app or by the contact on your account before it takes effect; continuing to use Flintroom after that is acceptance of the updated terms.
