Deleting your Flintroom account
The fastest way: in the app
- Open Flintroom and go to Settings.
- Choose Delete account and confirm.
That schedules the deletion and signs you out everywhere. For the next seven days the account is hidden rather than gone, and signing in during that time cancels the deletion. We say so plainly when it happens, rather than quietly restoring an account you meant to lose. After seven days a scheduled process destroys the data listed below, and a confirmation is sent to the email on your sign-in.
If you can't use the app
Email hello@flintroom.app with the subject “Delete my account” from the address on your Apple or Google sign-in, and we run the same deletion for you: the same seven-day window, the same confirmation. You do not need the app installed to ask.
What is destroyed
- Every room: transcripts, recordings, and the coach conversations.
- All attached material and everything extracted from it.
- Panelists you authored, your settings, and your usage history.
- The record linking the account to your Apple or Google sign-in, including your email address.
What remains, and why
Billing records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, but stripped of any link to you: once the sign-in record is destroyed, the account identifier maps to nobody, and what remains is a row of numbers we are required to keep.
Deleting the app from your phone does not delete your account. Use one of the two paths above.
